
Describe your perfect day
The other day I was watching a video about stoicism. The host asked that you describe your perfect day.
For such a simple question, it occurred to me that I had never really thought about it. So I thought I would try it as an exercise.

Goals
“So last year was a real low point for me. I’m determined to do better in 2023. So I’ve been looking at my goals and trying to make them manageable.”

And the sky full of stars..
What we put out into the world makes a difference. Because even if everything you do feels meaningless, it affects things and people in ways you don’t perceive.

Sober October
I don’t drink or do drugs. And despite a joking rivalry with my friend Kevin, I’m really challenging myself. Since I don’t have a problem with drugs or alcohol, I take Sober October as an opportunity to cleanse myself of certain behaviors.
The scenic route
I took the long way around in my journey as a photographer. Between my start in 2003 and 2018, I never quite took my photography education seriously. I didn’t have the confidence to believe that I could do it as a career.

Suddenly…
Olivia Newton John was my first crush. I don’t know if it was her performance as Sandy in Grease or watching her on MTV, but I remember being smitten.
